UPDATE Two vehicle accident on Highway 52 just south of Kingstree claims life on local man. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, an Audi was traveling northbound on Highway 52 at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and hit a trailer being pulled by a pickup. The driver, Charles Canteen, 35, of Hemingway was later pronounced dead at a hospital. No one else involved in the crash sustained serious injury.
