First Lady Lou Henry Hoover likely recorded the first color home movies ever filmed at the White House. While preserving Mrs. Hoover’s home movie reels at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum, audio-visual archivist Lynn Smith discovered that some of the reels used Kodacolor film instead of black and white film.
